Leaves when stop press appears (9) = ENDPAPERS

stop = END, press = PAPERS

Thought I’d had these two before but can’t find them with a blog search:

Where one may eat curry crossing Channel? (5,4) = GRILL ROOM

curry = GROOM, channel = RILL

Nobody’s child? (5) = LUPIN

Cryptic definition. In “The Diary of a Nobody” Pooter’s son starts using his middle name Lupin.

Favourite clue:

Pollarded tree in gateway (4) = ARCH

pollarded = deletion, tree = LARCH

ENDPAPERS = leaf; page at beginning or end of book, folded and glued to the cover
GRILL ROOM = Where one may eat;
